Maybe FL can ask Obama, Sharpton, Jackson, etc. to personally reimburse them for the money spent on a case they demanded be tried despite no evidence.

Laughing at the headline—Time bent over backwards to make it look like Z is demanding something to which he is not entitled.

I’d sue the state of Florida, NBC, ABC, CBS and any other neww organization that played a part in the hyping of this case.

In this case, Florida held a kangaroo court with a clearly frivolous charge that lacked even prima facie proof. A private citizen like Zimmerman should not bear the burden of Obama’s electioneering. The state should pay Zimmerman’s costs - and they should fire those responsible for filing charges that were clearly unjustified.

He should sue for millions, just getting the bills paid doesn’t teach them anything

Taxpayers have already shelled out an estimated $902,000 on the second-degree murder trial that ended July 13, the newspaper reports.

This is what is known as "burying the lede."

Not only should Zimmerman get reimbursed for everything that he spent defending himself, the state should demand a refund from the prosecutors for everything that they wasted with this political show trial.

I hope the media covers this hearing and during it O’Mara lays out the grounds for a malicious prosecution.

The Scheme Team and media should hope that O’Mara gets the full $300,000 from the state since the more they get from the state, the less they will be extracting from them when their time comes.

It’s time the race hustlers start having to pay damages for their baseless charges.

Anybody know the status of the lawsuit against NBC for their deliberately misleading story insinuating that Zimmerman killed Trayvon because he was black?

Dang straight they ought to pay up. The police didn’t want to press charges and the genius politicians dragged that guy through the dirt. They ought to give him his gun back as no crime was committed with it.

The headline is deliberately provocative. He doesn’t “want” them to do so. He has requested they do so, as per the law.

“Wants” sounds like he is looking for special treatment. He is simply filing for his non-lawyer legal expenses to be covered because he was acquitted, which is what Florida law specifies.

“State law requires that Florida cover all legal expenses — except lawyer’s fees “

“Except lawyer’s fees” says it all! The vast majority of our laws are designed to maximize revenue for lawyers the lowest form of maggot puss we have in this country.

We MUST somehow get around the lawyer lobby and all the lawyers in congress and make “Loser Pays” the law of the land.

They will fight this with every Saul Alinsky lie possible but it is imperative we have Loser Pays.

A few years ago, a roofing contractor royally screwed up my roof with the roof having more rows on the left side of the front of the house than the right side.

There were also 2 rows of very high end shingles right near the top which did not have a single nail in them.

Everything was crooked (including the contractor and his lawyer).

Well when I refused to pay until he fixed it, he put a lien on my house and, while I eventually won, (3 years later) I had to pay my own lawyer fees!

WHY, his firm screwed up, he filed a lawsuit rather than fix the problem and he lost but I ended up being out $4,000+ to fight it?

Lawyers are not worth the shovel it takes to bury them.

There was never a legitimate case - they should pay. BTW; anybody in FL go after those who perps who contributed to this Court case - before and after and beyond their job description?

Corey is the one most responsible. She should be arrested, thrown in jail, and be visible from State Route 54 breaking rocks with a pick axe...while garbed in a chic bright orange jump suit, of course.

As a Florida resident, I'll have to pay a mini-percent of a nickel or dime for this reimbursement....and I don't begrudge a speck of it.
