Thanks, I think Tracy has one too... Milpitas would be a great spot.. near the great mall.. now that bart is finally digging in.. I still would hope we get a wendy’s closer too.. mckee isn’t that far but.. fuel is money..
a little steep compared to the old days, but considering a porterhouse is 7o plus.. lol, I can imagine the fixings it comes with, does alexander’s serve kobe too..?
I usually genji locally.. occasionally benihana.. best i ever had was in okinawa. sigh.
locally House of Genji has been the old standby for years,, good old industrial strength food year after year, price creep hasn’t been too bad.
When in Hawaii , we always hit the kobe steakHOuse in waikiki and on Maui too. I skip the umbrella drinks these days. darn.
Ow wow, I forgot all about the Au Gratin taters!!
Used to love those with Asparagus and hollandaise sauce....yummy!
I don't know if this holds true for Ruth's Chris recipes but I've found recipes on Google for things like Benihana steak sauce, salad dressing that are right on the money.
Might be worth a look.
This turned into a really fun thread, thanks for posting it!
Nearest Texas Roadhouse to my location shows as 23 miles. Maybe they’ll open one closer!
Isn’t Tracy a lot farther away? What about the finger chili Wendy’s near spartan stadium?
Totally agree that Morton’s is consistently the best upscale steakhouse chain.
I beg to differ about Ruth’s Chris. I often entertain customers by taking them to a nice steak. I am a farm raised boy from the midwest so I have a pretty good idea of good meat. Ruth’s Chris has disappointed for the longest time. Seven years ago it was great. Today, terrible. No way they are using Prime.
Or maybe it's just frugality.
Nearest one to my house shows as about 45 miles, but since I live out in the country, it amounts to just a few country miles. ;-)
I agree and you’re quite welcome. ;-)
