“I have a dad who’s undocumented. What can I do so he can stay with me?”

The guy blew it, and came off as totally dogmatic nd insensitive. The right answer might have been...

"We all know how important it is for all of us to remain together as a family. That is commendable.
"However, since we have laws, and without them we are all much poorer, the alternative to keep a loving family together is to go with him. That is easily arranged. Thank you for asking."
