It is hard to see the falsh in frame 4 but you do nitice it on the video. Almost like his brake lights coming on but that can't be because the car goes dark right after.

LOL I found it. That's pretty close to accurate. They got the maid wrong though. That accent sounds more Puerto Rican than Mexican. Steve Martin's "LA Story" has a lot of those parodies of Southern Californians. The best scene though is when they are in a restaurant when a small quake hits and they all start debating how strong it is.

He "just emailed" his friends 15 hours prior to the accident which is less than 24 hours but more than immediately prior. Why the delay if he was in fear of an investigation, or worse, his very life?

Yet he was driving on a highly patrolled surface street which would not have been a good alternate route or even likely surface street to get to LAX. Reports have said that his car was speeding, that he ran a red light and then crashed into a palm tree in the center divider in a residential area.
Yet it is difficult to speed on Highland Avenue at any hour because traffic lights are timed to prevent it.
The red light timing along with the report of him blowing through just the one red light render speculations that he was speeding to LAX using Highland Avenue, as improbable and unlikely.
Theories about his car having mechanical difficulties such as a stuck accelerator; or his having some kind of medical emergency; or even someone hacking into his car's system seem more reasonable than his taking that particular surface street to get to LAX, if in fact, that was where he was even headed.
It does remain a tragic accident with many unanswered questions.
We’ll know Hastings was murdered if Obamatollah appoints Biden as the new LA Coroner.

Europe is unlikely, at least direct. Those flights tend to leave late afternoon or early evening, which gets you to Europe in the morning. A lot of flights to eastern US destinations go early, though, which with time zones and flight times gets you in sometime in the afternoon. He may have been making a connection. we need to know if there was a reservation in his name.
If you play the video full screen from 14sec thru 17sec one split sec at a time. You will see a flash then complete darkness and then the explosion. What that means to me is something blew up that knocked out power completely, no brakes lights, no headlights, nothing, then the crash.
That was freaking amazing.

I have no idea, but their station is close to the Hastings crash location.
Also, since they got ambushed around 4AM, we know they tend to work (ON SHIFT) at 4AM, the same timeframe of the Hastings crash (which occurred several nights before).
In other words, at the moment Hastings crashed, they were likely ON DUTY operating their unmarked car in the area from their Police Station NEARBY.
Somebody apparently wants them dead. Imagine if they got killed SEPARATELY the same week at 2 different locations (eg. their homes)? That would raise all sorts of alarm bells.
Thus, they were ambushed #1 TOGETHER in the same car, #2 somewhere (time/place) they were GUARANTEED TO SHOW UP (end of shift, pulling back into the police station driveway).

Not sure if anyone is still paying attention or if I should be bumping a thread this old but, did you all see the new information on Hastings from SD 6? The wikileaks email and the revelation that Hastings was targeting John Brennan on his next story. At the very least the wiki email makes things interesting.
