The world’s GPS system is vulnerable to hackers or terrorists who could use it to hijack ships — even commercial airliners, according to a frightening new study that exposes a huge potential hole in national security.
Using a laptop, a small antenna and an electronic GPS “spoofer” built for $3,000, GPS expert Todd Humphreys and his team at the University of Texas took control of the sophisticated navigation system aboard an $80 million, 210-foot super-yacht in the Mediterranean Sea.
“We injected our spoofing signals into its GPS antennas and we’re basically able to control its navigation system with our spoofing signals,” Humphreys told Fox News.
Normal people “take the freeway to the airport.”
However, if you’ve just emailed friends saying “the FBI is investigating me” and “ I need to go off the radar awhile,” you’re not dealing with normal circumstances.
If FBI is following and/or watching you, and you’re trying to make it to the airport at 4:30am when you’re almost “the only vehicle on the road,” you might not head for the almost-empty freeway where you’d stick out like a sore thumb from the ground AND air.
Except for the hacker that got whacked this week.

Also let’s not forget the 2 cops ambushed as they returned to their (nearby) police station at 4am a few nights after Hastings crashed.
If Obamatollah wants them silenced, killing them separately raised huge red flags.

McAfee has hired the infamous BARNABY JACK to hack into cars, reports PC Pro UK.
He probably is the one who found the vulnerability that was used to murder Hastings.
Too bad he just dropped dead, otherwise we could ask him...

Traffic in LA these days is 24/7. It usually moves faster at 2:30 am than 2:30 pm - unless of course CALTRANS is out there on golden time closing lanes and “fixing” the road.
Lots of people use Highland to travel south - even if headed for LAX. When there isn’t too much traffic, it’s convenient.
This event is quite mysterious. I hope the truth comes out.
Agree. That’s a very unusual route for someone to take to get to LAX, especially at that hour. If he needed to get there quickly, the freeway is much better plus his speeding through Hollywood would have been less likely to arouse the attention of LEO who are always out and about in that area because of all the studio production shops and entryways on Highland and in the the general vicinity.
Just looked at it again and it looks like he first spun out and around 360 before impact/explosion.
Southbound Highland is not a safe road to speed on especially as you approach Melrose Ave.

LA Coronor Technician, Michael Cormier, supposedly “didn’t work on Breitbart’s corpse,” yet Cormier dropped dead from arsenic poisoning the day his office released the Breitbart autopsy report to the public.
