The same goes for universities. So many parents send their kids to good Christian high schools, only to find they lose their way in State universities. At least you have some influence over your kids in high school.
I have 3 kids. The oldest went all the way through public school until graduation. Then he went to a small Christian University, which was, in retrospect, well worth every cent. Upon graduation he had to turn down 3 job offers. He is in ministry.
My youngest went through Christian HS and is headed for a great conservative Christian college, Grove City. My middle child, who marches to his own beat, graduated from Christian HS, took college for a year and joined the Marines. He has thanked me for his “unique” upbringing on several occasions. He says it really sets him apart as a Marine because he has solid standards.
Given the shift in cost/benefits of a college education, you’d be better advised these days to have your kids learn a valuable trade.
