Meet the juror who voted for murder.
She wouldn’t/couldn’t convict ultimately but she seems to think the outcome was a moral travesty, yet she also thinks that the trial was a “publicity stunt” by the prosecution and never should have happened. If there’s one thing a raw, divided America needs now to heal after the verdict, it’s … the opposite of this, basically:
“You can’t put the man in jail even though in our hearts we felt he was guilty,” said the woman who was identified only as Juror B29 during the trial. “But we had to grab our hearts and put it aside and look at the evidence.”…

“That’s where I felt confused, where if a person kills someone, then you get charged for it,” Maddy said. “But as the law was read to me, if you have no proof that he killed him intentionally, you can’t say he’s guilty.”…
She said she believes she owes Trayvon Martin’s parents an apology because she feels “like I let them down.”
“It’s hard for me to sleep, it’s hard for me to eat because I feel I was FORCEFULLY included in Trayvon Martin’s death.
Yes. She has a bunch of kids.
After reading her words, all I can say is that she does a very convincing impression of a very stupid person.
She is a coward who wants to show her face but is fearful of the TM gang. She can now put her face public.
She makes no sense. GZ would be the first to say that he killed TM “intentionally”. It was self-defense, but it was no accident, he pulled the trigger to save his own life.

This woman makes Rachel Jeantel look intelligent..first she says that Zimmerman got away with murder, yet she voted Not Guilty..then she says that the whole case was a farce from the start, yet she says Zimmerman got away with murder..so which is it reality show obsessed moron. By the way, I always knew this woman would be a huge problem for the defense, anyone that sits on their ass and watches reality shows all day is NOT someone playing with a full deck

I’m so sick over this. The lefty loons won’t stop with attacking GZ and the media needs a dupe to keep up their narrative and do a CYA because of all their bias before the trial started.

This whine and bitch fest about the verdict has been going on for almost two weeks with outrages lies and calls for banning SYG laws etc. And where is the push back other than on message boards and forums like this? Nobody else is speaking up and it makes me sick.

You can’t use legal arguments to convince a lot of people.
Innocent until proven guilty doesn’t matter to them. Reasonable doubt doesn’t matter, either. Every conflict is seen as a fairy tale with heroes and villains.
So be it. IMO, Martin should have been shown to be the villain that he was. The defense didn’t spend enough time emphasizing the shear brutality of Marin and Martin’s state of mind.
Martin was beating Zimmerman as Zimmerman was screaming for his life and after he had been overwhelmed. A normal person doesn’t do that. A brutal psychopath does. A normal person would have done the right thing and would have stopped beating Zimmerman after he had gotten the better of him. A good person would have stopped. Martin didn’t stop until he was shot. He was a mad dog. He was an angry, violent thug, full of rage. Shooting was the only option.
Nah, most people agree with this verdict. This is about a minority sticking with the tribe out of survival.
