The only effective prosecution has been by the Judge !

This was a show trial before it even convened.

I wish I had complete faith that the jury will acquit George Zimmerman.

I am so praying.

The prosecution keeps using the word ‘profiling’ in closing statements.. THEY ARE SETTING THE DOJ UP FOR A FEDERAL CIVIL RIGHTS ‘RACIAL PROFILING’ CHARGE. There is NO evidence whatsoever that George was watching Trayvon due to his race. They couldn’t even find someone that could testify to George ever saying the ‘N’ word, or they SURELY WOULD HAVE.

I have to wonder if the IRS has audited Zimmerman yet?

During analysis of a photo of George's clean hands, the prosecutor said "If the victim (Trayvon) is wailing on him (Zimmerman), then why is he not defending himself?"

Well, Mr. Prosecutor.. He DID defend himself! BOOM! LOL

It was 2nd degree murder, not first.

In general, women like compromising. Manslaughter is the compromise here.

Poor George.

since when can they just tack on new charges in the middle of a case, to be considered in that case, where you’re defending yourself against the original charge? wouldn’t that require another trial?

obviously the ‘judge’ is a hard leftie, but we knew that when we saw it was female.

... this is what happens in show trials. The only important thing in a show trial is pleasing the people in power and giving the unwashed masses a lesson. Show trials have nothing to do with dispensing justice.

Rush 'gets it'...

The “Greatest Generation” went all over Europe fighting Nazism and Fascism, then to Korea and Vietnam to combat communism; Now their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren have embraced forms of all three “ism”s, complete with regular “show trials”.

At the risk of being raked over the coals, this kind of nonsense goes on in courts everyday throughout America.

Maybe the average trial is not politically charged, I grant you that, but the prosecutors not caring if people are guilty or innocent etc happens all the time.

Anybody watch MASH reruns? Charles Emerson Winchester defended Clinger for treason or something, at the end when it was clear he lost the case, Charles pleaded with the Judges to think of his own reputation.

He said finding my client guilty will be a injustice (mind you a minor one he added) but the damage to my reputation will be huge.

This is what the justice system has come to. I can respect a defense attorney more for defending a guilty man (NOT SPEAKING OF GEORGE, BECAUSE HE IS 100% INNOCENT, but speaking of the average trial) more than I could respect a prosecutor of prosecuting a innocent man.

You have Conservative politicians running to be tough on crime, tying hands of a judge that may have been able to make a just ruling in various cases.

Speaking from personal experience, it is really not all that difficult to find yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time.

People are railroaded everyday, no it`s not televised
