This case has Manslaughter written all over it. While there is little evidence for it, I think it will happen anyway.
Murder2 is an impossibility, but the jury will feel sorry for the Mom, who wasn’t really a Mom anyway, and they will settle.
The jury also knows that a manslaughter conviction will stop the riots, and don’t tell me that won’t enter into their thinking.
I think the best Zimmerman can hope for is a hung jury.
I don’t think they’ll pull manslaughter out of the hat. The strongest reason is that Zman followed TM. I don’t think that is enough for manslaughter.
Hung Jury if anything.
I agree that a hung jury is the best the defense can hope for. Some, if not all the jurors will want to go for manslaughter to avoid rioting and targeting of themselves.
