Limbaugh: 'Looks like doom, unavoidable doom'
WND ^ | June 26, 2013 | Joe Kovacs

PALM BEACH, Fla. – In the wake of a string of recent advances for Barack Obama’s left-leaning agenda, radio’s Rush Limbaugh, the top-rated voice on the political right, admitted Wednesday there appears on the surface to be little hope in rescuing America.

“It all looks like doom, unavoidable doom,” Limbaugh lamented.

On Wednesday, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled the Defense of Marriage Act that defined marriage as the union between a man and woman to be unconstitutional.

But Limbaugh pointed out that was just one of a number of leftist initiatives moving ahead at full throttle.

“If amnesty happens,” he explained, “seven years from now this gonna be an entirely different country – politically, culturally, linguistically. It’d be different in six months if that happens. But that’s not isolated. Amnesty happens after Obamacare, and Obama’s efforts on climate change and so forth.”

“It looks like we’re headed to one-party rule!” he exclaimed.

“And there doesn’t seem to be any push back from the Republican Party. Push back is coming from the American people, a portion of them. If amnesty happens, that’s undeniable what that will bring. We’re talking about way too many people. We’re talking about a significant number of people who will be granted to vote sooner than 13 years. You know it and I know it.”

Re #19 -- anyone who thinks there will be a splitting of the Union is deluded himself. The Left isn't interested in going it alone; it's all about power and control for them. There is no "Left" without someone else to finance it. Productive Americans are essentially prisoners to the ruling elite and the takers who made them so.

We failed. We are Europe. Our best days are likely behind us.

....and since this experiment has failed, I propose a New World Order. I intend to 'Fundamentally Change' America! Re-elect me as your Supreme Leader and I will fix the Constitution our noble Forefathers so fatally flawed!"

I have had the exact same sentiment. Quit it all after the election but was drawn back. Somehow I hoped things might turn or there would be a reawakening. Not happening.

The lefties can’t be beaten with rule-of-law. They don’t follow it and slaughter anyone who does. Did you see Werfel in testimony to ways and means? He does not intend to follow the law and just like the rest of the left thugs... says try to stop me. He will skirt the law and trifle with it and delay and tie the pubbies in knots. He and the rest know they can and they will and they think it is cute and clever. What are you going to do, they say? Have DOJ charge me? I don’t think so.

There is only one way to counter lawlessness on the scale we have now. I don’t think it will happen though. I think the lefties will keep the sheeple reasonably content, continue to take their freedom and make the status quo the new normal. Step by step the nation will be destroyed until it finally falls apart. It will go out with a whimper. There will be no awakening. There will be no revolution of right and might.

Maybe Washington and Oregon east of the Cascades should be part of the red “Homeland States of America.”

That map needs updating. Colorado, Florida, and Virginia (actually, NOVA) are blue states now.

"I quit listening to Rush after the election. Not because I believe he’s wrong or I don’t like him. I can just see the writing on the wall. Rush is fighting a losing battle and has been for a while now. Maybe he should hang up his spurs and enjoy retirement."

Yeah. What's the point in fighting evil if it has the upper hand. Let's just all quit and "enjoy" it.

That is only because the west and there supporters in the west provided them with credits and material. If that didn’t happen, there movement wouldn’t even have survived the 20’s.

Rush could still make a difference by calling for the establishment of a new party and abandoning his belief that the Republicans can be influenced. He has resisted that idea for years. He’s far behind the power curve on this now. He’s not leading the conservative movement anymore. He’s let himself become irrelevant.
