I seem to remember an Egypt Air co-pilot a few years ago who suddenly, and without warning said “Allahu Akbar” (according to the cockpit voice recorder) then put the passenger plane into a power dive toward the ocean, killing everyone aboard. Can’t remember the specifics.

Iirc , it was during the Clinton era . I think there was a dozen or so Isreali soldiers on board . But it wasn’t terrorism , Clinton said so .
