Is This Who Runs Prism? (PALANTIR)
Talking Points Memo ^ | 6/7/2013 | TPM Editor

Posted on 06/07/2013 8:48:09 AM PDT by NowApproachingMidnight

“PRISM” is the government’s name for a program that uses technology from Palantir. Palantir is a Silicon Valley start-up that’s now valued at well over $1B, that focuses on data analysis for the government. Here’s how Palantir describes themselves:

“We build software that allows organizations to make sense of massive amounts of disparate data. We solve the technical problems, so they can solve the human ones. Combating terrorism. Prosecuting crimes. Fighting fraud. Eliminating waste. From Silicon Valley to your doorstep, we deploy our data fusion platforms against the hardest problems we can find, wherever we are needed most.” http://www.palantir.com/what-we-do/

Soros is likely one. Who are the other six?

"People are forgetting that this government has identified Tea Partiers, gun control advocates and other conservatives as “terrorists”. When we read that the phone spying efforts were aimed at rooting out terrorists and their networks, I do not think that the government thinks that “terrorist” means what we think it means. I think that they wanted to monitor US calling patterns to identify conservatives and their allies."

The company’s top officers are: Alex Karp and Karp’s co-founders Peter Thiel, Stephen Cohen, Nathan Gettings and Joe Lonsdale. If anyone can access a DB that shows campaign contributions—I don’t know how at this point—we should be able to find out who they have been supporting. My bet is big bucks to Obummer and the Democrats in general.

ps. Interesting timing ... Thiel is at Bilderberg conference. (So is Petraus.)

http://planet.infowars.com/business/whats-the-connection-peter-thiel-ron-paul-and-the-bilderberg-group

Peter Thiel, the billionaire and co-founder of PayPal recently donated 2.5 million dollars to a superPAC that backs presidential candidate Ron Paul. The interesting thing here, and get ready for a shocker, is that Thiel happens to be a part of the Bilderberg Group and its steering committee! Of course, you probably already knew that.

Now, why would Peter Thiel, a seemingly evil investor and tech guru that invested in Facebook and has pushed an NSA spying agenda, donate to the Ron Paul campaign?

Former CIA Director David Petraeus is in attendance at the 2013 Bilderberg Group conference to help construct the “big data” spy grid, which is set to become the new frontier of clandestine statecraft as Internet connectivity becomes ubiquitous.

I wondered about the political contributions made by Palantir and discovered a mixed bag- Feinstein received a lot as did both repubs and dems for congress which I am guessing has more to do with who is on a committee that would benefit the company. Also the company had their own pac.

There was one contributor who caught my attention - a Jason Catlin. He donated $14,000 to DNC Services. Red flags abound. what were those DNC services? is this how the DNC paid for that database? Or was it something that Obama’s campaign team set up?

Just wondering.

Karp did not contribute directly to either Romney or Obama but only to a few senators (Feinstein) and a few congressmen - a mixed bag. Most of the contributors from this company did support the Democrats and Obama but then it was excessive, except for this Jason Catlin. $14,000 to DNC Services.

also Karp gave much heavier to the republicans in the mid-term (2010).

found this at CampaignMoney.com and put the company name in the search form.

Excellent dots. Thanks.

BTW: PALANTIR is very reminiscent of Echelon. Wonder if there is a connection?

In light of who david petraeus has aligned himself with, and the fact that he got out of the Benghazi fiasco with nary a scratch, this makes perfect sense.

I don't know. Why would he give a speech at the 2016 GOP convention?
