For some really bizarre reason, people in SC don’t know his record. They like all the national attention that he brings to the state.
How hard would it be for “rogue elements” in the administration to generate computer calls from someones phone number TO actual terrorists, or to disguise their number as yours, and frame people for terrorist calls?
I don’t believe it is the conversations themselves, just the meta data (when calls were made, what phone numbers, etc). That said, given the current political climate, what about if you’re known to be in opposition of this administration? This data could be used to find out who you know, how often you talk, etc. and be a tool to construct an enemies list, all under the veil of national security.
Now, does anybody believe that *isn’t* already happening?
Is Lindsay trying to say one has to be willing to give up their privacy in order to prove they are innocent of wrongdoing?
