Attorney General Eric Holder has been under fire from numerous Republicans in recent weeks over the controversy surrounding the Justice Departments investigation into national security leaks.
Republicans from Senator Ted Cruz to Congressman Peter King have gone so far as to call for his resignation in recent weeks.
But tonight, in an exclusive interview with NBC News Justice Correspondent Pete Williams, Attorney General Eric Holder revealed that he has no plans to step down soon.
WILLIAMS: Is it your intention to serve this term out?,
HOLDER: No. Thats not my intention.

Usually denial is the first step of the process of stepping down.
Let’s just drag him out by his feet. Works for me...: )
I just hope the Republicans will CONSTANTLY REMIND the country just how corrupt Holder is...but I don’t have much confidence of that.
Arrogant bastard. The whole lot of them. Most transparent administration my ASS!
Obama will promote him, just like he did with Rice. Come on people, the man has Obama’s blessing. He’s not going anywhere unless democrats put more pressure on the president.
Welcome to Dictatorship. 0bama’s not afraid of Congress. Holder’s not afraid of Congress. Susan Rice isn’t a afraid of Congress. It’s great to be black.
Go ahead. Stay. The longer you’re on the scene, the worse Obama looks.
He knows he won’t be able to find another job. Who the hell would want to hire this racist bigot?
armed removal it is, then.
Attorney General Holder no doubt has the real dirt on Obama, the stuff that all the Freepers have been trying to conjure up without the real evidence. You can bet that Holder has the real evidence. He can do whatever he wants, and Obama will just have to be content with goin’ down to the Lodge with Amos and Andy.
Did Bill Clinton step down? Democrats have no morals or honor, their only concern being holding on to power. They have to be pried out of their office chairs with a crowbar, and Republicans don’t have the courage to do that.
Then he’ll need to be helped.
Why should he.
He has done his job and he has done it well.
Why should he step down.
He is doing exactly what Obama wants him to do, Obama is not going to get rid of him.
No one will charge him with anything. His color gives him protection from that.
Not one Congress critter has the balls to try to impeach him.
He makes a good salary doing what he likes to do, screwing over the laws of this country.
Why should he quit?
“...and Republicans dont have the courage to do that.”
Someone remind me how electing moderate/liberal Repubs is good for America. The reason the Republican party refuses to do anything is because they either believe in nothing or are Dems themselves.
I KNOW!!! LETS ELECT MORE LIKE THAT! It’s better than Dems huh?
Remind me again why we always play nice with these thugs.
This really IS splitting across skin-color lines.
His replacement, Deval Patrick, must be having problems closing his new mortgage in DC.
"..he's a goner, they always say the opposite of what they do"
