"The boy was questioned by the principal and a sheriff's deputy, who also wanted to search the family home without a warrant, Henkelman said. "He started asking me questions about if I have firearms, and [the deputy said] he's going to have to search my house. Search my house? I just wanted to know what happened."

It ought to be outrageous and damned sickening that adults can strongarm a child and prevent them from fully developing their potential.

What kind of policeman would this kid turnout to be having his desire to serve, help and save his fellow man suppressed his entire life his

Yes. And all the boyz who grew up shooting walk in competent at shooting and our best marksmen are largely found among those who shot guns and hunted as children and teens.

The good Lord quite often shows up in modest places that don’t go all screaming commercial like televangelists. I think there’s more light in Nashville than there was in Hagerstown, but it could be an effect of being further along in my spiritual battles too. God is not a one time experience. God is a life.

At least the First, Second and Fourth Amendments were being (or attempted to be by those holding power) violated here.

As long as we have our Constitution, we can rebuild.

That’s right. We have the blue prints.

________________________________________________________

The Constitution is a failure because we’ve become a godless hedonistic society. The only way to save the Republic is through a Revival, prayer and repentance; only when we put God first will the Constitution function as it was designed. But, most churches today are empty hollow shells that do nothing but entertain and tickle ears in order to feed the self-centered hedonism filling the pews.

Yes to that but there’s some work the Lord leaves to us, like cleaning up all the bloat and junk laws that are strangling the Constitution.

If an animal is covered in ticks, we can’t simply pray them off. We remove the ticks and pray to the Lord for the stomach and strength to get the job done and we pray for the animals health.

That’s how I understand it, anyhow.

I agree on every point but one. The Constitution is not a failure. We failed the Constitution because of the reasons you state.

The nation, for the most part, has turned it’s back on God. Now He is going to let us fend for ourselves. If the nation turns back to Him, He’ll be there.

But I don’t see the nation as a whole turning back to God.

May God have mercy on the United States.

But the cops were (generally) on "our side".

I'm not so sure any more.

If you are not sure by now, you never will be.

"...the deputy left Henkelman's home after the father answered questions in a four-page questionnaire issued by the Sheriff's Office."

I like to think the father's answers were "FU, FU, FU, annnnnd FU!"

I humbly disagree...you must build a nation on the Foundation of a good and just populous. The Constitution, absent a moral and upright people, is just a piece of paper. How do we know this?

John Adams in a speech to the military in 1798 warned his fellow countrymen stating, “We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion . . . Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any.

Our problem is a national lack of Integrity and Character, not a lack of Constitution. A good and just and upright people are not forced to rely on such a document as they will “govern themselves” - an immoral, corrupt, and unjust people will just ignore it anyway.

One need only look at how the Constitution is shredded each day to know which type of people we have now become.....

What’s curious is that if you replace the words “guns/firearms” with “Jews” in this article, how it would perfectly read like German history 1943.

And the Nazis had no problem rounding up the Jews once they were disarmed. Just as it will be easy to round up non-liberals once they're disarmed in this country.
