Russia And The Boston Bombings: The Mystery Deepens

The failure of the Russians to share information critical to the protection of U.S. civilians may have led to a U.S. attempt to recruit an FSB agent who was in a position to tell the U.S. more than was being obtained officially. There are now reports in the Russian press that the FSB agent in question had traveled together with U.S. investigators to the North Caucasus.

In any case, Ryan Fogle, a CIA agent working under diplomatic cover, was arrested on May 13. A video of the arrest was shown on Russian television and Russian officials took the gratuitous and almost unprecedented step of publicly naming the American CIA resident in Moscow.

Was it AQ or just some random islamist group operating out of Chechnya/Dagestan? The war there attracted all sorts of losers from various countries. There are too many shady links in this story.

Have the buffoons decided yet on whether to classify the Boston bombing as terrorism or are they going to just chalk it up as a couple of disgruntled sports fans?

LOL. Blaming KGB and Russian Foreign Office for both Tsarnaevs’ actions and Fogle’s arrest this way is just hillarious.
Since when KGB is a subdivision of FBI to report DETAILED information they have on suspects? A single warning telling Tsarnaev is a terrorist (which proved to be correct) is too much in this case.
As for Fogle’s arrest it is fair to “blame” KGB who has arrested but isn’t it a KGB job to catch CIA agents? It was Fogle’s fault to wear his stupid wig pushing a million dollars to a Russian officer in the open and get caught. He could find better ways to get info on terrorists.

Both are major screw-ups of Obama administration in the first place.

Russians warned the Obama administration about Tsarnaev at least twice. Obama's admnistration had their hands full investigating non-profit Tea Party Groups with the IRS and using the DOJ on AP reporters and Fox News reporters. By Obama's new rules, they can't even say Islamic terrorist or Islamist so how could they be expected to follow up on a high priority tip involving Islamist extremists?

Had they investigated this they might have been ethnic profiling and they might have offended the son of Elijah Muhammad who partnered with Obama's financier Tony Rezko.

Can't be that the Obama administration is incompetent and negligent, that just can't be, it has to be Russia's fault for warning us.

Yep, it’s a shame to see a notorious foreign agency to be more concerned about innocent American lives.
