Did the White House know about this scandal sooner than what they have claimed? Could criminal charges be filed against the local agents accused in the case?

Actually they should be given a plea deal in return for handing over those who gave the orders.

Prison. THE ONLY WAY to follow this trail of corruption, is to threaten prison sentences, decades long. You will work your way up as people plea their sentences down by ratting out who gave the orders. The trail ends at Barack Hussein’s desk.

These would be federal crimes, and the federal prosecutorial apparatus is ultimately headed by...Eric Holder and Barack Obama. Color me skeptical.

Can the House not head the prosecution in the form a special committee, in light of the systemic corruption?

in return for handing over those who gave the orders.

Only if those they hand over are tried and convicted. Let them earn their freedom they were compliant in taking it from others and our nation.

All four worked in the IRS Exempt Organizations Department.

Those 4 Cincinnati IRS agents are:

Mitchell Steele
Carly Young
Joseph Herr
Stephen Seok

I guarantee you they aren't going down without squealing like stuck pigs.

Ubama's only hope now is to off all four of them.

Time is running out.

Now they have to find a DA and judge - state employees - willing to bring charges and rule fairly.

IRS agents have no qualms about sending tax cheats to prison.

These people are tax cheats in the worst way.

I agree. These people are like the Watergate burglars -- pawns in a great big conspiracy. They need to be interviewed over and over again, and offered plea deals.

Are those four willing to sacrifice themselves for His Aloofness?

If they’re fired the citizenry of Cincy will just elect them to city council. I kid you not; I live here.

What is your opinion of the police chief there?

He’ll be taking over in Detroit and from what I’m reading, he’s a step up.

Disagree...the wheels are already in motion to buy these people off. Their cases will be referred to a Democratic U.S. attorney and federal judge; they’ll get two years (at most) in a minimum-security federal prison. When they get out, there will be a tidy sum sitting in some off-shore bank account and Democratic operatives will help them land a job that pays at least six figures a year.

One more thing: I’m betting that most of these agents have at least twenty years of experience and are retirement eligible. They will be allowed to retire and keep their federal pensions, even after their brief stints in jail.

All to protect Barry O. Herculean efforts are being made to keep this mess out of the Oval Office. Truth be told, the White House was up to its eyeballs in all of this, but proving it is a very difficult task.

As Rush observed yesterday, these people are true believers and they are quite willing to sacrifice themselves for “the cause,” particularly if certain financial arrangements are made.

And it's not just a few IRS agents.

The entire IRS is controlled by its union, the NTEU, and the union is nothing more than an extension of the Democratic/Obama Machine.
