Virginia officials: Tamerlan burial a grave injustice

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)

Flabbergasted Virginia officials have asked authorities there to look into whether the secret burial of accused marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev in a rural Muslim cemetery broke any laws — but one expert says they likely have no ground to stand on.

Tsarnaev’s burial at the Al-Barzakh Cemetery in Doswell, Va., sent shock waves yesterday through Caroline County, where local officials — unaware of the hush-hush funeral until reporters started flooding their voicemails — say they don’t want the stain of his remains on their quiet community.

The brouhaha prompted the state attorney general’s office to step in and review the burial, according to Floyd Thomas, chairman of the county board of supervisors.

“Of all the localities,” Thomas said, “this is probably one of the last ones we would have thought of.”

But with the death certificate and burial permit already on file and the body in a private cemetery, there was no obligation to even inform local officials, according to an expert in burial law....

What do people think should have been done with this man’s corpse?

Hmmmm. Well, Bin Laden was dumped in the ocean. Why was this schmuck so special he needed to be buried on land?

To: who knows what evil?

...what about the bodies?

Usually they would be buried on the prison grounds or put into a reserved section of some cemetery (potters field).

To say that I agree with you would be a gross understatement.

Bill the family. There is no reason for them not to have handled this. Now the costs of guarding his grave are borne by others.

Exhume him & give him to the family. It’s their problem.

Why did the flabbergasted Virginian officials allow a Muslim cemetery to exist in the first place?

Probably for the same reason your state's officials allow them in New York. A quick check on Google Maps finds your state has no less than 10.

He’s dead. He’s buried. I don’t see a problem. It’s not like they found him a place in Arlington. Or ripped someone out their resting place to make room for him.

You don't see a problem? Let me give you a few:

There have been several attempts to open a Saudi School here in Northern Virginia. So far they have been refused....so far...

Refused? They opened it a mile south of my house years ago!

It should have been covered in pig fat and burned with the ashes spread in a pig sty.

Katherine Russell is lawyering up!......Bombers wife hires Terroism attorney.....wonder who is funding this for her?

“Dratel once represented a Pakistani man living in New York who pleaded guilty to supporting Hezbollah by broadcasting the Islamic militant group’s TV channel to U.S. viewers. He also defended an Australian charged with being a soldier for the Taliban.”

She must know a whole lot more than the press is letting on.

Do a quick google search. It would take a few seconds to find it. And that is on a 1200 baud modem.

They shoulda just cremated him and sent him back to his mother in a pressure cooker.

Now that's a creative solution, I like the way you think!
