Why so many people – including scientists – suddenly believe in an afterlife

Evil spirits are dodgy. They don’t WANT materialistic skeptics to budge from their materialism, because a viewpoint that denies the existence of spirit gives evil spirits a lot of room to do psychic mischief without anyone caring about the source of the problem. Anyhow, evil spirits won’t go out of their way to do their paranormal stuff for materialists, in most cases.

Most people who claim an encounter generally have limited exposure to the Bible themselves...many go to church and let others teach them...but don't follow up on their own to see if what they are being taught is indeed as it is written...and fewer still seek God concerning what they read or hear.

It's great to say one checks with Gods word...easy to say...another thing to confirm it in actuality.

I’ve heard and seen enough of people claiming “special” encounters in the spirit world or/and by spirits.

God has given us His word... and His very Spirit ‘WITHIN’ us...think about that .... Why would anyone seek more? ....Unbelief...Doubt and a host of other ‘traps’.

I’m not in that position, but that’s not because I can brag on myself but because God forced the issue with me. To me, getting the gospel right was a matter of spiritual sink or swim, and I fought with every ounce of power not to sink.

People are well advised not to go inquiring into the devil, but such inquiry is quite unnecessary to know what the devil does, because the devil comes knocking on people’s doors unasked. And when he comes he generally does not look like a little horned red cartoon figure with a tail and a pitchfork. He looks like that centerfold or that impossibly rich, huge piece of cake or that tarot deck or that ouija board etc.

God reveals in His word the ‘tactics’ of the devil and his cohorts....attacks from the enemy are rarely identified by those already in his traps.....and if unfamiliar with Gods word one can be enticed before they are aware of it.

We know he masquerades and counterfeits everything that is good God gives us....close enough to fool the masses.

There IS an afterlife, but IMO what you want out of it goes a long way towards predicting what you'll get out of it. No proof, just my opinion.
