BobL, you may be a captain of industry in your field, but in this area you just don’t get it. More than they hate gringos, the TexMex, Chicanos, Puerto Ricans, El Salvadorans, Colombians and Argentineans hate hate hate anti-Castro Cubans. The reasons are obvious if you think about it.
Just because McCain’s dad was military, doesn’t mean you HAVE to be military. Cruz’s mom, being a citizen, is enough to make Cruz a citizen.
