The Pentagon has released a statement confirming that soldiers could be prosecuted for promoting their faith: "Religious proselytization is not permitted within the Department of Defense...Court martials and non-judicial punishments are decided on a case-by-case basis...”.
The statement, released to Fox News, follows a Breitbart News report on Obama administration Pentagon appointees meeting with anti-Christian extremist Mikey Weinstein to develop court-martial procedures to punish Christians in the military who express or share their faith.

Being convicted in a court martial means that a soldier has committed a crime under federal military law. Punishment for a court martial can include imprisonment and being dishonorably discharged from the military.

Our job as Christians is to “preach the gospel” of Jesus, always. Now, you can “preach” by your actions, to some degree, but ultimately, preaching involves talking. If someone asks you for the reason you live your life the way you do, then you are to “pREACH” out to them. If a Christian doesn’t want to be court martialed then they do need to get out. Otherwise, Christians in the military need to realize that they will be breaking military law and they will be punished for it.
I agree with many here that say that this is a planned move to get Conservatives and Christians out of the military so that Obama and the liberals can finally have their jackbooted, atheist military from which they think they can institute martial law. I say, bring it.

Define proselytize in this case. A soldier can't share his Christian beliefs with other soldiers he is bunking with? He can't take about them at the mess hall?
No, not all homosexuals are child molesters. But many are. Many more %wise than the straight pop. I do not want to take the chance.
It has variable definitions, doesn’t it? A guy puts out he’s setting up a prayer group at Place X at Time Y. Another guy rants in the barracks about how all those sinners coming back from the bar are going to burn if they don’t pray with him immediately.
Who is proselytizing? If both instances resulted in complaints to a commander, which Soldier would be ignored, which would be counseled?
That’s why officers make the big bucks. Not everything is black and white.
