Out-of-town billionaires want to buy the Dodgers? Really? When? They might play a whole lot better than they are now. A really good idea.

a good newspaper is a far more valuable asset. And it's too bad America's 2nd largest metro area doesn't have one.

Right now the LAT is the Obamadork’s butt-kissing toilet, with the intellectual integrity of a senator.
Methinks megaphone might be an improvement.

Well, Karl Marx owns the megaphone now.

“The people of Los Angeles would be up in arms if some out-of-town billionaires tried to buy the Dodgers and institute a rule that only right-handers could play on the team. Petitions would be signed, protests would be organized and politicians would rise up to condemn the sale.”
And, even with all that, it wouldn’t stop the sale.
Liberals just hate when they can’t control things..
Also sounds like ‘Dave’ is a little worried about losing his job.
If he keeps going the way he is, he just might be right.

Check out
this bizarre editorial in HuffPo. The writer uses various fantasies and unsupported anecdotes to say that half the LAT staff is going to quit if the Koch deal goes through. I'll bet half the LAT staff has no idea who the Koch brothers are.

So, when are they going to get a good newspaper? LMAO
To: Nachum
Does he mean that after they buy it I might actually would want to read anything there more than my current once every two years? Have they no shame?

Actually, the Kochs have a big advantage here.
Newspapers are of most interest to people who know how to read, do so in English, and actually care to read.
That rules about 60% of the current LA population.

Kind of weird that they can’t see that the opposite is the current state of affairs. It’s okay for “them” to have the megaphone but not others with opposing view points. Kind of like the politcally correct one way street we find ourselves driving the wrong way on. Dems=good. Rep=evil. From their point of view. Don’t you just love the “tolerant” lefties?

Half the LA Times staff only cares that their paychecks show up on time to be cashed.
This half loves the Kochs

Koch brothers want to make your newspaper their megaphone I say, "BRING IT ON BOYS."
Against this communistic media we could use a little more fire power in getting information, that should be reported and isn't, out to the public.
To: Nachum
Because America hating socialists aren't using the paper (and almost all of media) as their megaphone?

All along, the liberals would have had us believe that it doesn’t really matter who owns a media outlet, because newsroom integrity and the quality of reporting would never be affected by left-wing ownership.
Now they are asking us to believe the exact opposite. They are running scared at the LA Times. Good. The comfortable are becoming afflicted.
