2 US officials say evidence suggests Boston suspects motivated by religion, worked alone.

There is no way, imho, that these two worked alone. There’s too much evidence to the contrary.
The narrative was that they had access to expensive cars and money, but then after the bombing they were scrambling to get a beat-up old Mercedes out of the shop.
They were put up to it and then either were abandoned or were to have died in the bombings.
The younger one was a lifeguard (ironic, isn't it?) until he got fired for not showing up. The older one was reported to be a "stay at home dad" while his wife worked in home health care. I'm sorry, I have no links, that just what I have read.
The interview of the Saudi in the hospital - he wanted a list of muslims who got killed.
Hey Whitey, why don't you ask the Feds since they knew all about these foreigners before they ever set off their Walmart pressure cooker bombs..
Call up um up and ask them!
Tell um you're Mr. Allahkiluall...They'll tell anything ya want to know Whitey.
There was no nice Mercedes that I’ve seen. There was a very beat-up old Mercedes wagon. The brothers had FRIENDS who had nice cars, according to their mechanic, a Hispanic who does not speak English well.
Thanks! Apparently some TX congressman has that on a bumper sticker on his car.
More propaganda from the AP.
In the article Tamarlan pictured with his mercedes in the background....The brothers had money but now one is asking where it came from ....... Follow the money ...
Too many want to believe that Al Qaeda is some kinda formal organization with a bureaucracy like the Social Security Administration. It’s entirely plausible that the fools acted on their own.
That’s not anywhere close to a new model. Not newer than ten years old. Not even indication it’s theirs.
If they had so much money, why did one harass a mechanic for an old beat-up Merecedes? Why did they have to withdraw someone else’s cash?
They did have friends with money.
The Mercedes was a hijacked car.
Nonetheless, the kid isn’t talking due to a shot throat, and the brother is dead.
They simply don’t know and anything said is pure speculation.
They had multiple unregistered guns, not free, ammo not free, pressure cookers/bomb parts not free, cell phones, cars, etc, living in Boston not free, no jobs that we know of, I looked for any reporting on any jobs the older one did work some odd jobs pizza delivery etc, he is married with a kid wife works he doesn’t, full time students, so how were they living? Even if they got scholarships they obvioulsy don’t cover all the costs of education... Someone was sponsoring them, I certainly don’t buy this crap that they acted completely alone, they were here being sponsored and mentored by one Jihadi group or another and our idiot in the White House refuses to link Islamic Jihad as the MO to these terrorists. I smell cover up coming...
Worked alone? Here comes the lone wolf spin..
Worked alone? Yeah. These dudes had a car, an apartment, weapons, bomb making material and cash. Yea, they worked alone.
BS. Working alone? The older one spent six months in Chechnya, returns to the US and within another six - nine months ..... we have the massacre at Boston. How many bombs were tossed out the car window when the two carjacked the Mercedes. WHERE DID THEY GET THE MONEY? Who is paying the rent?
This deserves its own thread since it raises questions about their two Turkish friends and the source of their money.
Well, they are batting .500 on that statement, which is actually pretty good , considering
There were to be suicide bombers or just abandoned by their handler(s).
But calling a ‘98 Mercedes an ‘expensive car’?
