Tsarnaev charged, could face death penalty

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev was charged Monday with using a weapon of mass destruction against persons and property at the Boston Marathon, resulting in the death of three people and injuries to more than 200 people, the Department of Justice said. He also was charged with one count of malicious destruction of property by means of an explosive device resulting in death. The charges authorize a penalty, upon conviction, of death or imprisonment for life or any term of years. Tsarnaev had his initial court appearance today from his hospital room.

You’ll just have to wait for the foreign press to come through. That seems to be the ONLY place we’re getting any kind of information these days.
