Robot carries cameras and a microphone or two, so yes, they can get feedback from that. I don't see how they'd get a robot in the boat though.

sounds like they’re getting ready to make their move on the guy (take him out.)Not good. It doesn't sound like the police are in any imminent danger. They should just wait him out and take him alive.
Maybe Obama wants the perp dead (so he doesn't have to deal with interrogation issues) - but does he have the power to order a summary execution? I don't think so.
