Moments after news broke that the Senate rejected Toomey-Manchin, Governor Palin sent out a congratulatory tweet to free and law abiding Americans.
@SarahPalinUSA - "Politicians' expanded gun control effort fails in the Senate today. Count this a victory for the 2nd Amendment and law-abiding citizens. about 3 hours ago.
In response, the ever so petulant Piers Morgan sent out the following:
"NAUSEATING > @SarahPalinUSA now jubilantly boasting of anti gun control 'victory' on her Twitter feed. No heart, no shame"
"Imagine crying 'VICTORY!' as those poor Sandy Hook families weep inside the Senate. Just revolting. @SarahPalinUSA #NewtownBetrayed
