I think the word Ms. Grossman is looking for is KARMA.

My mama taught all six of her boys to keep their pants zipped until they were married. Four of us six took her advice and have all had decent marriages.

One of the two who didn't changed his ways and finally found the right girl in his fifties. The other who didn't. married a witch with an attractive paint job who drove him into an early grave.

It is the best advice a mama can give her boys.

A conservative is a liberal who’s been mugged. Her family is getting mugged.

Most unwitting supporters of NWO don’t know that NWO sucks.

Until the impact of NWO statism/corruption/immorality wacks them upside the head.

Judith likes the immoral laws that have been passed in the US and the eroding of the morality of our legal system. Just not when they start affecting her family.

Some animals are more equal than others. She didn’t mind when it was other males who were guilty by a preponderance of evidence until proven innocent, had no right to counsel and no right to confront accusers or even to know the exact charges. It became wrong when it was her own son being railroaded. She disgusts me. I’m glad he got off on the charges, but a decent person would be offended by the system when other people were the victims, rather than only when a family member gets caught in that web.

Liberals don’t like the constitution until they actually need it.

And the years of bashing the white man has finally caught up to one of their own.

My sister in law is nurse. She and I got the boys together and I gave them the lecture about child support and that they should never assume a woman is telling them the truth about birth control and my SIL gave them the lecture about STDs. Amazing that any of them reproduced. Actually, of the six, only two have so far. hmm.

Hypocrite - She was perfectly fine with the way things were - until it affected her son. What about the hundreds, perhaps thousands, of other mothers' sons? Just their tough luck, I guess.

If you are a male in college, the easiest course is to have nothing to do with the women there. You will have plenty of time when you get out into the real world.

Schadenfreude squared.

More like cubed, if you ask me. I'm growing weary of anecdotal stories from those professing to be "good liberals". This is the society that they wrought, so she should learn to deal with it, and sacrifice her son to the altar of the government.

Think she's ready to read Atlas Shrugged? I would direct her to the trial of Henry Rearden.

My wife used to work at a university in the office that handles disciplinary matters. This kind of case happened all the time. Usually, it involved a girl having second thoughts after losing her virginity who somehow was convinced that charging someone with "date rape" would restore her maiden status.

Still, I find it difficult to suppress a feeling of schadenfreude when a PC leftist gets bit on the ass by a policy of their own making (tee hee).

No sympathy for the author whatever - this is the world she created. Where the hell has she been for the last thirty years?

I fear that in the current climate the goal of "women's rights," with the compliance of politically motivated government policy and the tacit complicity of college administrators, runs the risk of grounding our most cherished institutions in a veritable snake pit of injustice—not unlike the very injustices the movement itself has for so long sought to correct.

It was never about equality. It was always about revenge. The author had to wait until it became personal to realize how vicious the thing is, was, and will be for the foreseeable future.

I made myself somewhat unpopular on campus by simply observing that women here are a privileged majority - they outnumber men, they have a Women's Center, a Women's Gym, Women's programs, women's scholarships, an entire academic department; none of these have any counterparts for men, and the old saw that they aren't needed because men already dominate just isn't cutting it anymore. I stated that I will once again become a donor when this is remediated, safe in the knowledge that it never will be.

Another example of the academic gulag at work. College campus’ are a hostile environment to males.

Thank God I went to college in the 60s at the start of the sexual revolution. I was proud to do my part to liberate women.

Another one who can’t believe she will be on the trains with the rest of us. Lady, you will not be protected; so why continue to believe liars who will bring you down and destroy you? Your only hope is to stand up against the people who seek to take your real freedom.

This woman is a hypocrite. She favors all the feminist lies and false accusations. She then pretends to be against them when it happens to her son. If some other young man were in he same position, she her friends and probably even her son, would be the first to condemn and not care in the least that he was falsely accused.

All liberals and all feminists are hypocrites. This woman is just one of many.

This is fun. And her first paragraph basically provided us with a scorecard. How long until it says:

I am a feminist. BUT NO MORE.

I have marched at the barricades. BUT NO MORE.

Subscribed to Ms. magazine. BUT NO MORE.

Knocked on many a door in support of progressive candidates. BUT NO MORE.

Committed to women's rights. BUT NO MORE.

Have expressed unqualified support for Title IX and for the Violence Against Women Act. BUT NO MORE.

Whee! Everybody can play! One domino after another, at the first brush with reality!

their relationship a few years earlier.

Three times in this article she references the infraction as "a few years earlier" as if this makes any difference. But ,. . . she's a lawyer and there's a reason for it.

It was never a problem for her when the sons of other mothers were smeared and condemned in star chamber hearings. If only these cretinous activists could arrange for their policies never to apply to them, it could finally be a perfect world.

I feel a bit sorry for the writer’s son. He’s the clay pigeon launched by his ignorant excuse of a mother. We (conservatives) warned her and warned her, then warned her again about title IX, but she wouldn’t listen. She’s smarter than us because she gets Ms magazine.

Now her kid is up s*** creek without a paddle, and it’s her fault.
