Find out who those scientists are and then give them Zero credibility for the rest of their lives.

History shows that during periods of General warming there was more food- Not less. Droughts are caused by other factors and run in cycles of just a few years.

Then there is the problem that warming is not actually happening right now.

As far as the cost of Food. I believe it has already just about doubled since the current administration took office. And it is was caused by warming that is for sure. It was caused by bankers and government.

“Does anyone keep track of these idiots’ predictions and hold them accountable”

You mean like that time magazine article from the 70’s that said we were heading into an ice age.

2) A warmer world means more agriculture is possible.

Putting it mildly! A significantly warmer earth will expand the agricultural areas of Canada and Siberia to an enormous extent.

Actually, when the Chinese take over, they will teach the Africans how to plant GM food, use chemical fertilizers, and probably spray DDT to get rid of the tsetse fly so they can convert the savannah with all those animals beloved of National Geographic into farms which the National Geographic hates.

The high veldt in Africa could be a bread basket, but the Europeans discouraged the green revolution etc. The Chinese need the resources, so will develop them (and steal them) making locals rich.

The economic changes in Africa in the last ten years rarely hit the MSM, but things are changing for the better.

Climate change is not a “hoax”: climate changes all the time. Medieval warm period, the collapse of the old Kingdom of Egypt, the Bronze age collapse, the year without the summer, etc.

The real question is if we are entering a warm period (maybe as warm as during the Roman empire, when they grew grapes and had palm trees in England) or if we are entering a “little ice age” like the one that preceded the Black Death...

and pollution is also a problem.

But these bozos are making propaganda to establish a one world order. And that scares me.

Of course, it does.

I should have been more specific: i.e., AGW (anthropogenic global warming) is a HOAX!

And "pollution" -- while it may be a problem -- is not related to the phenomenon of "climate change".

Headline properly translated: “Millions face starvation if a One World Government doesn’t tax the living crap out of everyone.”

To scientists, these seemingly disparate incidents represent the advance signs of fundamental changes in the world’s weather. The central fact is that after three quarters of a century of extraordinarily mild conditions, the earth’s climate seems to be cooling down. Meteorologists disagree about the cause and extent of the cooling trend, as well as over its specific impact on local weather conditions. But they are almost unanimous in the view that the trend will reduce agricultural productivity for the rest of the century. If the climatic change is as profound as some of the pessimists fear, the resulting famines could be catastrophic.

I just hate these predictions!

Now I don’t know whether to invest in long foodstuff production, or in carbon credits.

Maybe I’ll just have to move some gold high into the mountains so the high water won’t gobble it up!

60-80 thousand years of serious glaciation would cool mankind’s jets quite a bit wouldn’t it? Can you imagine what it would take to drill for oil and gas with 1-3 mile thick ice caps over the land? And boy would we need it!
