There’s more going on here than we know. China also has an untested leader without full control, and China/NK military ties are close. Hardline elements in the PLA may be pushing NK toward confrontation for unknown reasons.

China has been trying to get the Norks to back down this time. They’ve made no public statements supporting the North, not one

A war in Korea would bankrupt China if they intervened on behalf of the Norks because the Obamanation of Desolation would immediately, AS HE SHOULD, cancel any debts the US has with China. Wouldn’t that be great?

Indeed, that is my fear that Obama would like this war because he could use it to reduce the US deficit and create jobs
