North Korea seen moving mid-range missile to east coast: reports

SEOUL | Wed Apr 3, 2013 9:13pm EDT

(Reuters) - North Korea has moved what appears to be a mid-range Musudan missile to its east coast, South Korea's Yonhap news agency said on Thursday, quoting multiple government sources privy to intelligence from U.S. and South Korean authorities.

It was not clear if the missile was mounted with a warhead or whether the North was planning to fire it or was just putting it on display as a show of force, one South Korean government source was quoted as saying.

Our President needs to declare - "Anything put on a pad will be wiped off the pad". Yeah, like that is going to happen.

too bad we don't have a president. The guy occupying the White House with his wookie wife and mother in law are too busy planning the sequester concert to bothered by things like national security..

obama would love to see NK use a nuke. That would raise his approval numbers through the roof and put him in the WH for life.

......”I don’t think the current trajectory of events is Un’s idea at all”.......

He got rid of allot of the old guard...this is Kim and his new crew trying to establish his leadership as a tough kid on the block....with his aunt and uncle and their crew all on board.....

Kim knows exactly the game...he’s willingly playing his roll because if he doesn’t the whole deck of cards will fall down around him...and he knows it.

He knew exactly what he ws getting into...so no...I don’t give him a bit of slack in this....he butil a huge amuzement park for himself...and scads of other nonesense...while he knows his people are starving. There is no excuse for that.

.......”The moment of explosion is approaching fast,” the North Korean military said, warning that war could break out “today or tomorrow”.........

Yes, they whole entire leadership there knows exactly what they are doing...and moving forward....I still say soon they will see where the line is....this is definately not the game they thought it would be.

It will not tip the island over. It might burn up some of the litter the locals toss out.

China has been trying to get the Norks to back down this time. They’ve made no public statements supporting the North, not one

A war in Korea would bankrupt China if they intervened on behalf of the Norks because the Obamanation of Desolation would immediately, AS HE SHOULD, cancel any debts the US has with China. Wouldn’t that be great?

Indeed, that is my fear that Obama would like this war because he could use it to reduce the US deficit and create jobs

Well, at least we have all our Battle Groups deployed,....oh,..wait,...that sequester thing has our entire Navy back in port, without fuel, without ammo, and waiting to save funds till Obama decides he might provide a budget and the liberals in Congress decide to cut some spending beyond about 0.2%.

So even if Korea nukes Hawaii, the west coast, Japan, and Guam, and China invaded Taiwan and Japan,...about the only thing we could do is use up our nuclear arsenal and then hope Obama doesn’t take too many more vacations and doesn’t turn DHS MRAPs on US civilians.

The way things are going, it would be easier for Obama to turn against the American people and welcome the Chinese in to our borders in exchange for allowing his Czars to remain in power for another decade.

Sortof makes you wonder why Hillary spent so much time going to Kamachatka instead of attending the last DNC or why her and Bill in their last actions in office, made visits to Vietnam and sent envoys into Mexico, with the recent ‘Zimmerman Letter’ from NK to Mexico. Interesting how so many Naval Officers and Ship Captains who happened to be around Hillary in that period have been relieved of command and other CinCs relieved. Almost as many as the numbers of nations surrounding the Arab world who have changed 30 year old regime leadership in the last 4 years.

The actions of Kim are way too transparent for them to manifest his actual intent. He simply appears to be a puppet given an opportunity to keep his military busy and is busy with an easel drawing up international attacks with the skill sets of a 2nd Lt.

IMHO, what’s going on in Korea is the moving hand, while the more important slight of hand is being made elsewhere.

What’s happening with Mexican 5th Columnists pushing a MECHA or Aztlan push along our southern borders to keep us preoccupied?

PS When things start to happen, they will happen quickly. They will likely be disparate actions which play off of public fear of armegheddon. A handful of WMD will not destroy us, but they will be played by our adversaries to promote public fear and hysteria, while other moves are advanced. They are probably already here and planted, with the publicity if events like these to be used as false flags.

If Ronald W. Reagan were alive and president, yes, this would be the policy. "We have 24 hour monitoring of you via sophisticated satellite imagery, and the moment you put an ICBM on a launch pad, this is to warn you that the launch pad will suffer the fate of cruise missiles or other weapons in the US arsenal without advance warning, as it will be taken as an act of preparing for a preemptive attack on the US or its allies."

Even Kennedy had some balls. He would long ago have announced US policy toward Asia and our allies on a prime time TV broadcast, subtitled in Korean and made sure through the UN DPRK mission that they had received a hand delivered copy of the address stating we will take them out before they have a chance to position them for offense.

I don’t expect this to go truly ‘hot’ but wouldn’t be surprised if Iran tests it’s first nuclear weapon just when things are at their trickiest in the Korean peninsular.

We always want to have some time cushion so that we can plan, prepare, and steer the event toward the manageable situation.

We've had plenty of time to steer this. For at minimum a decade we've known that NK was dying. The Chinese prop them up, not because they cannot see that SK is the winning model. But, because admitting it ruins the lie they're currently living.

The plans in place, but the Red Chinese can't live with the outcome. Liberalism is contra-truth.
