I compromized on voting for Romney - when I knew it was a mistake - to my great shame. I won’t accept a flawed candidate again. Between the GOPe that picked Romney and the “Libertarian” extremists like Rand Paul....the GOP is rapidly losing ANY appeal to this social conservative.
Ronald Reagan was MORE than “just a man of his time.” He set a standard that others could easily emulate IF they just would step up and do so. He was far from perfect, but he was the BEST POTUS of my nearly 60 years.
Nonsense. There was drug abuse a-plenty in the 1800’s. It’s just that the Bible-thumping crowd had other things to get their panties in a bunch about, like slavery.
The GOP is doing a perfectly good job of destroying itself. No one outside the beltway needs to do so much as lift a finger.
