Appointed because her political ideals aligned with Obastard’s. She will try to twist the military into a perverted social experiment club.

Just the title to this article indicates the current level of stupidity in our military. Fish rots from the head down. Sorry, had to say it.

Sure women can handle combat. Just like they could handle being a lineman in the NFL. I can only hope that other nations militaries catch the PC disease. If they don’t we are dead.

"First female general to lead Parris Island Marine base says women can handle combat"

That's an interesting statement in light of the fact that Congress just renewed the VAWA. So let me make sure I understand our societal leaders. A woman can handle the violence and horror of the battlefield. But that same woman needs special protection at home if a man yells at her. Hey, makes sense to someone I guess.

“The first female Marine Corps general in charge of its tough-as-nails basic training site on Parris Island says she’s confident women in the Corps will be able to handle combat.”

Well, hey, good luck with that.

I have long maintained that it was wrong to allow females to matriculate at our military academies — something that, IIRC — began in the 1970s during VietNam.

Remember, from the beginning, female military academy cadets were NEVER held to the same physical standards as their male counterparts.

It does not take a Ph.D. in physics to see that the one leads to the other (admitting women to our military academies to demands to place women in combat).

The argument has usually been that combat combat restrictions create unfair limitations on female officers’ career advancement.

This is not the argument of enlisted Women Marines or enlisted female soldiers, or enlisted female sailors or airmen.

Nor is it an argument based on either national security needs or a desire to improve our military’s combat effectiveness. (Is this not a red flag to all with a room-temp IQ?)

Rather, this (career-limitation whining) is the argument of spoiled, privileged women permitted to rob able-bodied males of coveted Academy slots, who now want to do the same in combat units.

I have read arguments in this forum of those defending placing women in the Academies. Okay. Now defend this nonsense.

Trust me, the Russians and Chinese are laughing at us for our folly.

I fear we may well be headed for disastrous military defeat. Our enemies care nothing about our social experimentation. They care only about defeating us in battle — something our current leaders appear to be facilitating.

This idiocy is a cancer on our military, and it is now metastasizing.

Just damn.

My only grandson will enter the Marines in June.

I have obliquely objected to his choice, but I do want it to be his decision alone.

Ten years ago I would have been quite happy for him, now I can only hope for the best with great trepidation.

Indeed, my first choice for ground combat troops is to select from the one pool of bodies that we know has 40% less upper body strength, weaker bone structure, less stamina, and less of that magic aggression hormone testosterone. Stunningly brilliant idea.

Once the first womans head is blown off in combat then contant reporting on the media 24/7 for 3 weeks straight expect a significant drop in female recruitment in the military.

Maybe that was the plan all along...

Political correctness comes to the Marines.

They no longer make Marine generals like they used to!

She won't answer now, but she will be made to answer after we are forced to fight a "real" war, not a drone war of our choosing.
