Bergoglio has supported the social justice ethos of Latin American Catholicism, including a robust defense of the poor.

He sounds like a good man. I don't see any issues with any of that provided it's not underpinned by godless Marxist/Liberation theology.

I personally know of a pries who receives large investment income checks from assets donated to him. He does NOT distribute that money to the poor. He can not be the only one who has had investment income like that donated to him. This is only the tip of the iceberg. However, lightning awaits those who reveal details...
