Dietary guidelines for babies, birth to 24 months? That’s wonderful! My only question is how will you inform the babies of what they should be eating? I hear that many in this age group read and comprehend at a lower level than New York high schoolers.
Next: I have not been able to find anything the Government has done right since winning World War II. Why would anyone believe they will even be close to right on this.

My Mom built B-24’s during WWII. But I don’t know what was in the commissary. Probably crackers and bologna.
Not only that but it is often unhelpful. Why can’t private medical science keep up with what’s best? Why do 20 and 30 year old ideas have to keep dominating the scene, sucking up our own tax money to do so? I’d much sooner believe what, say, the Mayo Clinic has to say about wise diets than what Washington does.
So - if a baby makes it past the government approved baby killing factories, the government wants to dictate how the survivor is fed.
Why not have them issue guidelines for infants? Because they’ve done soooooooooo well with the rest of us! /sarc
