Yep. Cruz is definitely forcing our RINO Senator Cornyn to quickly lurch right :)
He was referring to a Fusion Center in Missouri. On his show, Jessie Ventura interviewed a woman who was placed on a Fusion Center watch list for being a Ron Paul supporter. I know he’s a crackpot and most of his shows are absolute hogwash, but his shows on big government, global warming, police state, etc are pretty good.
Rand will vote to confirm Brennan- just like he did for Hagel and Kerry.

When I say what I see, as opposed to what you say you think, I’m expressing my analysis of the situation.
You are doing the exact same thing. And your views are no more sacrosanct than mine.
I use reasoning and common sense to back up my points.
They aren’t sacrosanct, they’re mine. Just as yours are yours.
And do not mislead, I made it absolutely plain I disagree with his votes on nominees of Obama and I support Cruz’s votes.
However, you made the accusation he is acting as a HACK. I defined hack, and that IS the definition of a hack. You need to say who you think he is acting as a hack for, or what he is acting as a hack for. Just saying, “he’s a hack” is merely an ad homynym attack that lies there dead in the water if nothing more is forthcoming.
It defies common sense reasoning to look at someone as semi-isolated politically as Rand Paul, and accuse him of acting on behalf of someone or something that is “behind the scenes”, or that he fails to disclose.
The Republican party? The Republican Elite? Mitch McConnell? Harry Reid? Barack Obama? They don’t need hacks, do they? They don’t need Rand Paul to act for them. They are their own hacks and this country is going down because of them.
He’s just mistaken that in this situation with our nation at death’s door, he needs to be giving all due deference to Presidential appointments. I can see his point, I just disagree that the Constitution ends up being a suicide pact in practice, and in my reasoning that’s what happens when you vote for Obama’s horrible people.
But you see how few people agree with me, that are up there in DC. Ted Cruz was joined by only TWO OTHER SENATORS in voting against Kerry. That says it all for how widespread is the view that you hold your nose and vote yes, under all but the rarest of rare circumstances.
Rand taking that view is wrong. But hackery? For hacks who don’t need any hacks, because their hackery is destroying American quite nicely, thank you???

Rand Paul is laying it out beautifully. Where DO they draw the line??? Bottom line is they don’t get to make this crap up as they go along. No Way. WE demand the answer to Senator Paul’s question.

He’s already made it clear it’s about the issue of Drone strikes on Americans in America.
That’s why he’s filibustering.
He said it isn’t about the individual Brennan, or even Holder or Obama.
It’s about the Constitution.

So out of his own mouth he disavows that this is being done because of Brennan in particular, but you have to predict he will vote for Brennan as he did others?

Paul says Maybe CONGRESS should be setting the rules of drone strikes. Maybe Congress should be protecting you from the govt.
They he should read aloud something that’s filthy and loathesome to Dems...like the entire Constitution followed by the Bible.

There can be no liberty when you combine the executive and judiciary which is what you have when you have a drone strike.
Rand Paul is our best (with Cruz and Rubeo a close second) GOP senator.
FYI I did not like the Haggle Kerry votes either, but his explanation made sense to me, plus both were going to be nominated anyway. Picking your battle ground carefully has long been a hallmark of great commanders.

A fusion center is an information sharing center, many of which were jointly created between 2003 and 2007 under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Office of Justice Programs in the U.S. Department of Justice.
They are designed to promote information sharing at the federal level between agencies such as the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. military, and state- and local-level government. As of July 2009, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security recognized at least 72 fusion centers. Fusion centers may also be affiliated with an Emergency Operations Center that responds in the event of a disaster.
Some of these fusion centers have placed conservative/3rd party activist on their watchlists.
It’s an easy question, Senator. Will you vote to confirm? If you can’t answer no, that means yes. You haven’t voted yet, you might vote no, but I’m not very comfortable with that.
Can you give a straight answer?
God bless Rand Paul. I never thought that I would write this, but drones spying upon, tracking, and possibly killing Americans is way beyond the Pale. All of us are under threat from Lucifer Obama and his henchman Holder.
The senate has to power to confirm, so it's not a just a matter that the President gets his fair shake. Your vote can prevent a huge mess. There is some analogy here, between someone's weak answer and someone's weak vote.

Paul is reading another article about obama’s answer regarding drone strkes at Google a week or two back.

Haven’t done, don’t intend, might....president never says he WON’T use a drone strike on a noncombattant on American soil.
