There are many people today in America just as good as the “greatest generation”. My point is that they seem to be getting fewer.
Americans of the 40s and 50s probably would not have elected Jimmy Carter. They surely would not have elected pathologically lying, narcissistic assclowns like Clinton and Obama.
American schools back then would not be teaching studies in the culture of our enemies. Mass killings at schools were not commonplace. Children could roam neighborhoods freely without worries of abduction.
Today’s America is far more morally bankrupt than the 40s and 50s. Our society has gone downhill quickly since they took prayer and the 10 commandments out of schools. Since Roe vs Wade, 10 times as many babies have been killed as the Nazis killed Jews.

I thought this would finally be too much for the swine at DU to swallow. Wrong! A few are outraged, but the vast majority are ok with it. Two of their major reasons for supporting this:
1) Cops killed Bonnie and Clyde in an ambush.
2) Lincoln declared martial law during the civil war.
There is a big difference between here and say Iraq/Afghanistan. There the GIs stayed in Green Zones, huge protected bases. Here DHS will not be protected like that. They are normal working stiffs living amongst us. They have to go to work on our streets. They have family and homes amongst us. Things will not go well with the confiscators.

I have a feeling the Damn Yankee troops had nothing to do after the Civil War, so they went on a hell bent murderous rampage against the native Americans.
A lot of justification for Extra-Judical Executions, that would not have a chance in hell of surviving in court. That is, if it was ever actually decided on law instead of the political joke for justice we have now.
