Looking for marriage in all the wrong places
Asia Times Online ^ | March 4th 2013 | Spengler

Two mutually incompatible arguments are advanced to defend gay marriage. The first states that marriage is a good thing provided by the state, such that gay people have the same right to it as anyone else. The second states that marriage is a bad thing, and that bringing gay people into the institution of marriage will destroy it from the inside.

Michelangelo Signorile, a prominent gay activist, urges people in same-sex relationships to "demand the right to marry not as a way of adhering to society's moral codes but rather to debunk a myth and radically alter an archaic institution". They should "fight for same-sex marriage and its benefits and then, once granted, redefine the institution of marriage completely, because the most subversive action lesbians and gay men can undertake ... is to transform the notion of 'family' entirely"

Sexual perverts (gays) already have the exact same marriage rights as anyone else. They can marry any person of the opposite sex that will have them. Why do they need special rights?

The Supreme Court and the political elite will probably go along with the tide.

Marriage is all but extinct as an institution in this country and that’s exactly the way the Left likes it.

The writing is on the wall.

I wonder what would happen if conservatives filed lawsuits in every state that pretends to recognize gay “marriage”, demanding the right to polygamous “marriage”. Would the libs be revolted at the idea of eroding women’s status to part of the harem, or would they celebrate yet another blow to the traditional values that made western civilization a prosperous beacon of hope?

Marriage is now an entitlement. It not longer going to be seen as a gendericist institution.

Liberals think if you can’t get rid of it, change it so every one can get married. They’re right - if its an entitlement, keeping gays by virtue of mere accident of biology from marrying each other is the very epitome of unfairness.

And they’ve found Americans’ Achilles Heel: we take pride in considering ourselves to be fair.

“Radically alter an archaic institution”..... That’s all you need to know about the radical gay agenda push for gay ‘marriage’. Michael Savage coined it as “sexual communism’. To them the Lord God Almighty is archaic too.
Gonna be a lot of weeping and gnashing of teeth come the final Judgement.

Really?

>50% of the people in the country ARE married...
61% of the rest WANT to be married...

I'd say... "It's not quite dead yet".

http://www.pewsocialtrends.org/2011/12/14/barely-half-of-u-s-adults-are-married-a-record-low/

But... I hear ya. It's on someone's shoulder being carried out to the cart.

Signorile is a very sick man... He and his ilk aren't going to stop until they get their catamites back!
