Uri is obviously correct that this is a minor gaffe at best, but the truth remains: if Sarah Palin or George Bush or Condi Rice or Bobby Jindal had screwed up the name, the morons on "Today" or "GMA" or whatever crap CBS has on in the mornings these days would be hyping it up....

As much as I despise this despicable coward, I am willing to cut him some slack here.

I can only imagine what I might blurt out in front of media cameras and microphones if I were in a similar situation and trying to read a teleprompter and I never heard of these freaking places....

How about Hilly giving the Russians a “Reset Button” that said in Russian “Overloaded”.

10X as embarassing as fogetting the name of a local war lord.

Poor dull Uri just doesn’t get it. It isn’t about the gaffe, but the way it is treated by the state run media. A sip of water was fodder for the news propaganda shows for at least a week, with “serious” discussion about whether it disqualified Rubio to run for president. This simple minded jackass has been in government his whole life, and is treated as brilliant, but can’t handle a simple press conference.

I wish folks would quit posting this stuff. The media is NOT going to report it until a conservative does it. What does it matter now?

We should found a new Central Asian country for Jon Cary and his ilk. Let’s call it Numnutistan.

Who cares how he pronounces the name of a country just so long as he doesn’t get thirsty saying it. < do I really need a sarcasm tag?>

Dear Uri,

Especially when compared to George W. Bush Obunga not knowing how many states make up the United States?

57? No, wait, that's number of Mrs Kerry's Heinz variety number, right?

Hopefully, this was simply the beginning of a stroke.

We should not forget, this poor man served in Vietnomz, where he suffered from several brutal paper cuts.

Let’s please remember, he’s a real American gyro.

Is that really what qualifies as a gaffe these days? Especially when compared to George W. Bush not knowing the name of Pakistan's top general, or a U.S. presidential candidate deliberately and dismissively mangling another country's name?

Or a presidential candidate who thinks there are 58 states? Uri conveniently forgot about that one.
This scumbag Uri is just another rat operative masquerading as a reporter. Guys like him are a dime-a-dozen.

If Sarah Palin had done this it would be on the front page of the New York Times. So-called journalists have killed their profession in the name of political favoritism. It's not the internet that did in the MSM - it's the lack of trust their deceptions generated in readers and viewers...

Here's another story the New York Times is ‘missing’ for the millionth time...

Liberal astroturf group offering $9 to $11 per hour to join its gun-control campaign ....
