I can’t tell you the things I’VE been fooled by....some examples...
“The Ugly American”...I thought it a great book, dear Lord building huge unused roads in Burma, man I hadda join the Peace Corps. I was 14. Not a single thing in that book was true.
“Silent Spring”...goodness I thought the birds were all dying for their fragile eggs....what a racket.
I obediently had only one child so as to only reproduce myself per the liberal command of that nutjob who demanded zero population growth lest the planet be doomed.
Man I could go on and on.
Somehow, what with the Internet and contact with everyone on the planet a distinct possibility....why can’t our guys work on the TRUTH?
