What’s a “Rove”?
I know what an Obama is. I take bodacious Obamas every day.
Oh, perhaps a “Rove” is what happens when you eat something rotten...then you run outside and heave a “Rove”.
Yup, that’s what it must be,
Thing is, it is becoming clearer and clearer that the GOP and Dems are two sides of the same coin. I’m starting to feel like a danged hippie. Come to think of it, true conservatives are the only ones that embrace the one thing the hippies got right:
Question authority.
The GOP has been moderated into a coma and Karl Rove is pinching the feeding tube as the democrats happily goose step their way to full on fascism.
Seems to me that Karl Rove is helping the democrats more than anyone.
Didn’t Karl Rove earn 30-40- million the last election while Romney went down and the campaign got ripped off by all kinds of cynical profiteering campaign advisers and TV advertizing buyers
The answer to Rove and the GOP moderates?
Conan: “To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.”
Seriously, though. We should fight in the primaries to nominate the most articulate, conservative candidates. If we’re unfortunate enough to lose to a squish, then we should then vote to elect the lesser of two evils. However, we really need to give the moderates, especially unhinged incumbents like McCain, a serious run for their money in the primaries. Make ‘em earn it if nothing else!
The "logic" is astounding. If O'Donnell and Mourdock are indictments of the TEA Party, then why isn't every establishment Republican who loses a winnable race (McCain and Romney come immediately to mind) an indictment of the establishment?
Shut up Karl.
More and more, I think the "answer" is the establishment of the Tea Party as a bonafide, office-seeking political party.
It's time for a third party....a real American party. And let the chips fall where they may.
It is time for a Tea Party PAC to fight the republican elitists.
The Republican Party is rolling right along on its path of self destruction as half of it works to imitate Democrats, and the other half looks around for another party to join or create. It keeps soulless, unprincipled political pimps like Rove in the spotlight. Every halfwit wanting to smear conservatives with their populist pap becomes a star. ...One thing is for certain, a moderate, compromising Republican Party isn’t going to win elections, not come 2014, or 2016. It is walking assbackwards into the abyss while pretending to walk out.
No choice but to make tremendous headway towards discrediting Rove & Company by, and in 2014. There has to be massive support for other than the above which is whomever the GOPe selects for us.
TEA Party was a spontaneous movement of Americans against the establishment. It’s time to reactivate that American spirit again, and organize sufficiently to not detract from the spontaneity, but keep up the energy until election 2014.
That’s the only way I can see us winning at this point in time. Otherwise third party, and that breaks up the vote handing a win to the Democrats.
It would have been nice to have this fight during the primary instead of having the eGOP go progressive and shut down debate. Too bad. Whatever might have came out of that primary discussion could have challenged Team obama on a more open field.
But, you know?..maybe it's better this way and at this time. You know...after they lost. Again.
After their ideas and their approach lost. Again.
What does the eGOP have to stand on other than a record of appeasement, political failure and record spending?
So, now Rove wants to fight about heart and soul? Great! Let's have that fight.
The eGOP's republican party stands for compromise and appeasement. Is that something you want to fight for? Or vote for?
Clearly, the answer has been "NO!!!"
The only way people say yes to that is if they are scared and have no other option, and even that wasn't enough this last time. Loyal Republicans still stayed home!
There's nothing 'quiet' about it, Ben. It's war.
