This stuff comes from a very 'conspiracy-minded' website, but even a blind pig finds an acorn or true.
I posted this because I have heard of these platforms from more 'reputable' sources, but without this level of detail on the contents.
This stuff is critical for us to know about on a go-forward basis, especially FR management and those who post a lot here.

The quotes are from a specification that was presented to various vendors from a Federal government agency.
Note the discussion of a 'Social Listening Platform'. Chilling.

This is also how the democrats win at elections. They are good at mining social media analytics. The “war on women” was declared when their data mining indicated Obama was losing support among women. Republicans need to join the Google age and get far better at this kind of thing.

There are several viable responses, shrinking ‘nads not being among them:
1) Automated personal disinformation generator.
2) Counter ‘public snooping’ applications, allowing for detection of automation patterns, and identification of public profiles of decision makers. Counterintel, basically.

You’re correct of course.
When you combine decades of “progressive” control of education with their control of the major internet players (FB, Google, Wiki, Yahoo) no surprise that most under 30 voted for Baraq.

They have a huge data center to power this monitoring. They can identify individuals by your IP and also your patterns. What you type, language used, and sites visited are unique enough to identify individuals.

This was a brilliant misuse of government funds on the part of Democrats: Use these tools for POLITICAL EDGE. There are, at present, NO laws preventing such a thing!!!!
This is so important I am pinging EVERYONE I have on a list.

Big brother is watching and listening? Hope they get an earful!! And an earache.
When the people fear the government, we have tyranny.
When the government fears the people, we have Liberty!!
And thus the 2nd amendment. Long may she live!!
The founders were very wise men.

Nice. Thanks for sending out your ping list. See my colored response above: THERE IS, AT PRESENT, NO LAW PREVENTING THE USE OF THESE SOCIAL-LISTENING SOFTWARE PLATFORMS FOR BEING MISUSED FOR POLITICAL GAIN!
This may explain Obama's unexplainable win!

Yep - FR is about the only place I post anything and I add the occasional “Not saying it should happen, just commenting that it is likely” type caveat. Some of the more forceful posters make me wonder who might be watching and what they might be planning. The Fed is constantly upgrading computer systems and adding massive amounts of storage just so it can gather and hold data that might be used against the People when deemed expedient.
