Freepers have been calling Hagel an idiot for years. Today he was good enough to prove us correct in that assessment.

Freepers have been calling Hagel an idiot for years.

I’d like to state per my own rule that rather than an idiot, I describe Hagel as an imbecile. As you say he lived down to this description.
