The chorus from Sandy Hook Elementary School will sing "America the Beautiful" before Sunday's Super Bowl between the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens.

The chorus features 26 children from Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn., where 20 first-graders and six adults were killed in a Dec. 14 shooting rampage.

The other weird angle to this is Vicki Soto. They are naming a school after her.

Yet, there were other teachers who died.

One whole class of special needs children died along with the teacher.

They force fed us the story that she shielded her kids from the gunman.
One report from a kid is that they were lined up against a wall and then somehow several kids escaped.

Lanza could have killed them all with no problem using that gun. Did he let those kids go???

I don’t know what went on but it seems to me that the needed a “face” for the tragedy and decided young attractive Soto would be it. And they came up with a story for her to sell us.(which may or may not be true) . Oh and they have been sure to crop out the Creepy Devil Dude from her pictures.

As for me, the face for the story is Gene Rosen. A bunch of conflicting stories told by a Creepy guy.

I'm no expert, but shouldn't these kids be in grief counseling and not on stage performing for millions of strangers?

Exactly.

These "Sandy Hook survivors" sure as hell don't pass the sniff test for common sense. How many survivors from the shootings at Fort Hood, Columbine or Virginia Tech would be ready to put on a happy face and sing after what they went through just a month prior? My bet is that NONE of them would be willing to do something as absurd as this.

IMHO, the "Sandy Hook witnesses" and "grieving families" are all liars, fakers, phonies and frauds. NOTHING they say or do makes any sense in terms of human emotion and appropriate response. NOTHING.

"I haven’t watched a halftime show in years..."

Nor have I. But I don't think we're missing much. This was last year's half time.

Her AARP application just got mailed and she's out doing this.

"The NFL is going to put 26 already tramatized elementary school kids on stage to perform in front of a 60,000 person live audience and 100 million TV viewers."

The Superbowl pregame & halftime shows are not under the control of the NFL. They are fully under the control of CBS.

Remember the SB HT "wardrobe malfunction" a few years back? It was CBS (and its parent company at that time, Viacom) who were legally pursued as responsible parties.

http://www.globalpost.com/dispatch/news/regions/americas/united-states/121229/sandy-hook-lawsuit-seeks-100-million-girl-surviv

This lawsuit notice was pulled with the attorney saying he may file it again.

What is interesting is this quote:
“Usually, a fellow like Adam Lanza would have been known as a potential problem to the police,” Pinsky told the newspaper.”

So is this why it went from Lanza having been in trouble before but juvenile records are sealed to Vance claiming he had never been in trouble with the law.

I suspect a lot of what we have been seeing is to protect from lawsuits.

I really don’t see how young children would be equipped to go on a stage just a couple of months after having been almost gunned down.

Look for Paul Tagliapoof to penalize any team that lines up in the shotgun formation.

Thanks for the clarification.

I question the motivation of the NFL.
I KNOW what the motivation of CBS is.

The level of coordination exhibited in media about this issue is quite frightening.

I saw a youtube yesterday (thought I'd saved it but guess not) which noted that far too many of the pictures/film people in the parking lot later turned out to be victims’ families. With an enrollment of 625 students and say 40 staff, the odds of immediately airing a victim's family should have been 1 of 26.

Will they be cued to stop cheering and eating hot dogs to look all solemn when the Super Bowl cameras pan over to them? Compare the tears of the Chicago girl's family to the happy go lucky faces of the school's families. But, the Chicago thing has nearly as many questions as Sandy Hook.

I don’t know what the complaint would be about this. People have been complaining that they can’t get the residents of Newtown to sing to their satisfaction. Well Sunday some of the residents will be singing.

Here is another very interesting story for a number of reasons..

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-201_162-57559442/investigators-probe-life-of-mass-murderer-adam-lanza/

The cops were on the scene before Lanza went in and shot Soto. They saw him go in her classroom.

So you have 6 kids running screaming for their lives with cops on the scene and they run past all the law enforcement, run past the firehouse and go with a bus driver to Creepy Gene’s house to sit in a semi circle on the lawn?? But how many children get picked up by a Mother and get taken to the police station like Licata and Bryce???

Lanza lets off a volley of shots killing Soto and a group of children she huddled over and another group of children in a bathroom and before that he shot up around 14 people in another class.

Numbers still don’t make sense.

Oh, and now 26 children get to go to the Superbowl and sing.

Sheesh.

This was never meant to be a political event
Yep, seems like there are an awfull lot of people using the media spotlight of a superbowl to shine a light on their own agendas; gay rights and gun confiscation being the current front runners. The media is the message. Pity, I just like to watch football, haven't found the halfwit shows for a long time worth watching.

The picture on the right makes my skin crawl. It’s bizarre to say the least.

Their daughter/sister was just slaughtered in the most grizzly way possible and there they are smiling and posing for pictures like they just won the lottery.

Look at the officer in the back. He looks like he’s thinking WTH?

That's not what the article says.

You really disgust me with the way you bob and weave and try to explain things.
So what does the article say???

They advanced INTO THE SCHOOL and saw Lanza .

They were on the scene if they saw Lanza while they were in the hallway.

What’s your point??

Did someone else kill Soto other than Lanza????

They were INSIDE the school before Lanza DUCKED INTO A ROOM.

They absolutely were on the scene before Lanza went in and killed Soto.

I really really really DESPISE your postings.

“The first police officer on the scene was confronted by the glass window that Lanza had shot his way through to get past the locked door. The officer advanced into the school and saw the gunman, from a great distance down a long hallway, perhaps a couple of hundred feet. The gunman, dressed all in black, spotted the officer and ducked into a room off the hallway. As the officer, now joined by a partner began to rush down the hall toward the gunman they heard a volley of shots. When they got there, they found the gunman, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Just beyond the gunman, in a classroom, children huddled together, and their teacher, all of them shot multiple times. Nearby, in a bathroom another group of children, huddled together, all shot multiple times. It appears that the gunman let go a last volley of shots at his victims before killing himself with a single bullet to the head.””

For those that haven’t heard a first hand account

democrats spinning political hay over the dead bodies of children killed just over a month ago

these people are revolting

in the tit-for-tat category... any ‘moment of silence’ should be renamed to ‘America the beautiful sung by the 54m dead Americans aborted under liberal politicies’. (it might be a bit wordy)
