I go with “B”, but my favorite is “Modern Sporting Rifle”. I don’t know why we aid & abet the gun-grabbers by using their terminology. I rarely use the term “assault weapon”, except to describe the proposed legislation, then refer only to MSR’s or Modern Sporting Rifles, thereafter.
Just tell ‘em that “assault weapons” are already illegal under the National Firearms Act.
Then ask them where they’ve been, and who’s been telling them they’re legal.
