SJL’s district is highly gerrymandered, this did take place in her district. It’s in the section north of beltway 8 and west of I45:

So when is someone going to run a moderate Democrat against Sheila? There are plenty of young white people living in the Heights now who don't like her representation. May not be able to beat her in the general election but just slam her hard in the primary. No "straight ticket" vote in primaries.
