It's being reported on KXAN.com noon news that multiple people shot at on Lone Star College in Houston, TX. It's a tech school.
Yep. No long guns involved. No white people involved. Doesn't fit the narrative. Spike it.

500 murders in Chicago last year. How many multiple homicide shootings from Chicago made the national news last year?
This is more "shark attack" journalism. A spike in the COVERAGE of such stories to make audiences think they are occurring with greater frequency.
Meanwhile the flesh eater bath salt huffing attacks have disappeared from the news cycle. Media loves exploitive "chaos" stories. Puts the audience on edge.

Most are simply “copycat effect”. The more news coverage the MSM give these shootings, the more shootings you get, as more people on the edge are given incentive to get their time in the spotlight.

A few weeks back one of the analysts on FOX said that he thinks the news media itself contributes to shootings and predicted that there would be more because they become the only thing in the news.

Phone witness student to KHOU Live:
Stopped to give aid to 2 who were shot. One happened to be one of the shooters. Described this ‘downed’ shooter as a Black student.
The ‘downed’ shooter did not have a weapon.
Shooting took place in Admin Building.
One shooter retreated to Library.

IF these really are black, it fits more with the targeted over sensitive reactionary violent fist-fight type this seems to be.
IOW, looks like it wasn’t intended as a mass shooting. Thus, sorry, it is not as big news because other victims were incidental, not targeted. It is not a mass shooting, no more than incidental accidentals of thug fights in the city.
However, it’s an interesting study in the vanity of gun-free zones. Even common thugs aren’t deterred from bringing their guns.
Reporters frantically trying to hype a fight between two yahoos into a national incident. Breathlessly reporting that there are “police officers with shotguns” on campus.
“Oh My God, big scary guns”.

My nephew (and NIECE) are apparently OK... They attend the Kingwood campus.
The school under lock-down is just west of IAH, off Hardy Road.
I had no idea how BIG that system is. They have at least 6 campuses, and more than 90,000 students!

When I was in high school there would be fights in the parking lot with guns all around and nobody ever used one.
Maybe gang related. MS13? Crips? Bloods? SEIU? DNC? OFA?
I was on the Harrisburg Area Community College campus a few days after the Virginia Tech event. I’m walking along with my site contact, and shots ring out, then more and more shots. My contact informs me that that would be the campus shooting range — pistol target and skeet, run with the PA State Police. Sweet.
Deputies said they have detained a person of interest. Investigators said a suspect, an 18- to 20-year-old black male wearing a red shirt and Falcons cap, fled north of the campus to a nearby subdivision. Deputies are actively searching for him.

Well, and the more reporting you get, the more local incidents that wouldn’t have been heard about outside their community become national stories. First, the incident establishes a narrative, then reporters jam-fit every other incident into that narrative.

We didn't live in a culture of death back then. Over the years, the "rot America from within" communists did their dirty work.
When I tell my kids what the country was like when I was a kid, they ask how come we can't live like that now. It's hard to explain to them the culture war that's going on in this country. Even though they're college age, I don't want to frighten them, because more innocent people are going to die before the American citizens figure out where it's coming from. I just raised them up in the way they should go so they'll not depart from it when they get older.

I think they wrote that with the idea that the law might change at some future date. I don’t think they can keep you from keeping a gun locked in your vehicle any more.
I’m thinking this has been going on “all the time” and Big Media has just now been given the command the past few weeks to report EVERY SHOOTING.
You never read about more than two or three babies in America left in hot cars every year but there are like twenty or thirty.....

Lone Star has 7 campuses. That particular campus is near the mall in Houston known as “Gunspoint” Mall (real name Greenspoint) because of the type of customers who hang out there and their activities.
Witness said two guys got into an argument and pulled guns and shot each other.
Did anybody happen to see the guy in the background making gang symbols when they interviewed that blonde woman on FOX?
