That's my read, at least for now. I think that the extent of people arming up across the country got his panties in a wad. The only substantive thing his party will do is propose a renewal of an invigorated AWB, and when that doesn't pass he'll (drumroll)...blame the Republicans.

No ban on imported guns or ammo - he could've done that under GCA '68 (as unconstitutional as that POS is), and didn't...I wonder why?

Yea that was sooo weird. I was sure we'd see an end to ALL imported ammo via E.O., and an E.O. to stop parts-kits and other imported arms.

For instance, let’s say I’m your doc, and I say to you, “Hey, I went target shooting this weekend. Did pretty good, blah blah blah, so whaddaya think of that Obama’s EO doing __________?” and then you reply, “F*****g Obama! I think for all the bluster, Obama doesn't want to be impeached, even if it'll die in the Senate. The actual impeachment (like clinton) only takes the House.

He can spin it any way he wants as the left and the media (I repeat myself) did for Clinton, but the history would show that the first black president was impeached. He won't have that.

He'll wait until he's sure that the House will cave on it.

Crapped their undies, more likely. This is a big nothing, at least short term. I do worry about the mental health and privacy stuff - we STILL don't know everything in Obamacare - but that's going to take them plenty of time to take care of...CDC studies and all. Meanwhile, bigger issues will present themselves, like the country being broke. I don't think that the Dems or the Pubbies have forgotten 1994 or 2000 yet - when gun owners took Dems to the cleaners and promoted Algore to ex-Veep and High Priest of Gaia.
