“They will be basically not permitted to be transferred. They will be grandfathered in but not in terms of a transfer. There will be a registry,”

So let me get this straight if I lived in New York my son would not be able to inherit my firearms after I die. Sounds to me like a mechanism for confiscation if you ask me.

What say everyone else?

“...What say everyone else?...”

Either fight or run. Millions of NY gun owners just need to totally ignore anything they pass, then fight to the death when the thugs show up...or move out of that god-forsaken place with the lesson learned that liberals are mentally diseased and mentally dysfunctional.

That is exactly correct - this is the beginning of confiscation. If this law stands then it can be used as a template anywhere in the country. An incredible amount of honest citizens are now going to be defacto criminals. More people to put in jail! The USA (land of liberty) does have the most prisoners in the world, both numerically and per capita.

We are apparently building more prisons - to fit all the conservatives. And the patriot act will be used to hunt the conservatives down.

It makes me sick.
