Alternately, they may allow one to have the ammunition, but no gun. Just point the ammunition at the bad guy, and watch him run away.
In the best case scenario, Binden and Feinstein and Obama, might "compromise" and allow the right of people to warn the bad guys about about having a gun, but no real gun. I'm pretty sure that many republican congresspeople will opt for the fake gun scenario.
