I vaguely remember an episode of an old western (maybe Big Valley?) with a court scene. The Chinese witness offered to swear on a stack of Bibles. The attorney, knowing the witness was a Buddhist, offered to let him swear on, IIRC, a dead chicken or some such thing. I wonder if this show by BO is along the same lines? IE, doesn’t matter how many Bibles he uses if he does not believe in the power of the one true God.
